If your phone is Galaxy A14, A15, A25, A24, A35 or A55, you are eligible for a one time accidental front screen repair at a discounted fee.
I lost my phone. What should I do?
If you got your phone from Watu Credit and it’s unfortunately stolen or lost, you are required to take immediate action to protect your personal information and report the incident. Here’s what you should do:
Secure your accounts: Change the passwords of personal accounts linked to your phone, such as email, social media or banking apps. This will prevent unauthorized access to your accounts.
Contact Watu Simu customer support to report the theft/loss of the phone immediately. The number to call is 0790 000 999. Provide them with the necessary details, such as your account information and the incident report, if you have one.
File a Police Report: Visit your local police station and file a report about the stolen phone. Provide them with all the relevant details, including the phone’s make, model, IMEI and any other identifying information. This will be useful for tracking purposes.
Block your SIM Card: Contact Safaricom, Airtel, Telkom or any other mobile service provider to block your SIM Card associated with the stolen Watu Simu phone. This will prevent unauthorized use of your mobile number and services.
Enable phone tracking: If you had enabled any tracking or remote wiping features on your phone such as Find My Device, use those features to track your phone’s location or remotely erase your personal data.

How do I pay my Watu Credit phone via M-Pesa?
There are four ways you can pay for your smartphone. You will receive a confirmation message from Watu Credit immediately.
Go to the Mpesa Toolkit, use PAYBILL 650880 and your ID Number as the Account. Enter Amount and send.
Use the Mpesa App or Safaricom App, with the Paybill 650880.
You can also pay directly from the Watu Simu App. Go to the Payments tab and select the number of days to pay. Tap on Pay via Mpesa button to initiate the payment.
Dial *876# from the registered phone number. Select Watu Simu (Option 6) and then select Make Payment.
Why is my Watu Credit Phone is locked?
If your phone was locked for payment delay, tap on the Watu Simu icon on the lock screen. Log in to the app and initiate a payment for at least one day. The phone will automatically unlock for use.
I don’t have money to pay
Watu Credit allows you up to 15 minutes for free everyday. You can use these minutes to temporarily unlock the phone, make a few calls and make payment.
Does Watu give out Cash loans?
Currently, there are no cash loans available from Watu Credit. However, paying your installments on time gives you a good credit score, useful when applying for loans.
Does Watu Credit have an App?
Yes. The Watu Simu mobile app is available on Google Playstore. You can download it to track your payments. Use your registered phone number and create a four digit PIN to log in.
